19hh and a smile on his face. George was a favorite of everyone who came to visit him. A true gentle giant who allowed people of all sizes to crawl all over him. Absolute gem of a horse who loved to be the center of attention. Hands down, the biggest horse that has been at Pasture Time. He recently went to greener pastures and is sorely missed.
This kind hearted old guy has scars from working for the amish. He loves getting attention and being retired.
Miss Layla was the calmest, sweetest old lady you have ever met! She liked to keep to herself but when she decided that you get the privilege to pet her, she is very affectionate!
Covered in scars under her skin you can feel the pain this angelic girl endured in her past. Now she gets to roam free and do whatever she wants everyday.
This guy has the softest coat you have ever felt on a Percheron. Weighing in at 1650# you wouldn‘t expect him to be such a cuddle bug.
This Girl is fast! Her favorite thing is to race the herd to the next exciting thing going on. Her other favorite past time is getting into anything she isn't supposed to. She was orphaned as a baby and was raised by humans so her horsey communication skills can be confusing.
This once shy mare, loves to get treats and meet new friends. She is always up for a game of “Gate” pushing her gate back at you when you try to close it. She is a true unicorn.
Pearl was the suspected mother of Diamond. They were very closely bonded. This classy lady liked to keep to herself and enjoyed when someone fLund that special spot to scratch!
Diamond is never far from her mother, Pearl. Diamond loves people and the attention they give her. She has been known to follow someone across the barn for not giving enough attention just to demand the attention she rightfully deserves.
Son of Alli. Flash is all boy, goofy and loves to play! He is often seen investigating all new things and discovering why the humans are not where the humans go.
Mother of Flash, she came to us pregnant. This sweet lady loves treats and attention. She is a kind soul and is often seen with Jetta, Flash and Jade.
The mother of Jade, she arrived pregnant and with a due date not far from Alli's. She is blind in one eye but that doesn’t slow her down! Her favorite thing is eating. She never misses a meal or a single piece of hay.
Daughter of Jetta. She is super smart and loves to find new ways to get into what she isn’t supposed to get into.
This girl is an appendix that was someone’s barrel horse. She sustained a leg injury and was dumped in Bandera. She has been brought back from being severely malnourished. Surprisingly even though she is one of the smallest horses she eats more than any of the others.

Jerry left a huge hole in our heart! His large size and bright white coat made him stand out in a crowd. He was steadfast and an unmistakable presence.
This poor guy has some type of trama in his past and is scared of everything. Once he gets used to new things he is just fine though. He will even sneak over for a cuddle when no one is watching.
Xote was made with a little bit of sugar and a little bit of mischief. He has been known to walk away with Yeti cups and rubber food bowls but he has never turned down a treat!
Skipper is the son of Mary Anne. He is the youngest of the donkeys and the Prince of Mayhem. He loves attention almost has much as he loves seeing what trouble he can get in.
Mary Anne is mother to Skipper and suspected daughter of Ginger. She came to us pregnant with Skipper. She is a true beauty with a loud voice! She will make sure she is heard.
Ginger is the suspected mother to Mary Anne and grandmother to Skipper. They were brought to Pasture Time together. She loves her family and her treats. Meal time happens to be her favorite time and lucky for Ginger, it happens twice a day.
Poor Pinto; he was abandoned in a junk yard and sustained an injury on his back leg. With some help from the vets and lots of love as well as food, he is now in the herd making lots of friends. He all the attention he wants now!
Big ’ol Max! The tallest of everyone, he has the best views wherever he is standing. He is a retired carriage horse who now spends his time with his good friend Pinto and feasting on his all he can eat hay buffet.
Blaze was in an accident that caused damage to his front legs many years ago. Though he isn't as spritely as some of the other horses, he can be seen running to the barn for dinner. He leans into gentle petting and will never turn down a treat!
These little friends are have not been handled and are still learning to trust humans. The were scheduled to take a trip to Mexico before Pasture Time was able to save them. They are a work in progress as they learn to trust.
This amazing guy was saved by North East Texas Wild Tribe Rescue and donated to us. He came in with a cut lip with a lot of tissue damage and infection. He is still recovering and learning that people are his friend.
